George Alexander Stephen (4th left) b. 1875, Australia, d. 1949, Aberdeen. Alice Stephen, nee Mackay, his wife, (1st left) b. 1882, d. 1851. Millicent May Kirkby, nee Stephen, b. 1907, d. 1990. Millicent took this photo on board the ship leaving Australia on her and her parents return home to Namtu after a 6 mth. holiday. To see them off are:- Elizabeth Stephen, nee Wool, b. 1855, d. 1938 (George's mother,) 2nd left. Millicent Stammers, nee Stephen, (George's sister,) 3rd left. Alice Stammers, daughter of the above, 1st right. To complete the family details:- Norman Reginald Kirkby, Electrical Engr. and Supdt. of Khumardhubi Engineering Works, Bihar, India and husband of Millicent May, b. 1903, Pietermaritzurg, S.
